Welcome to the Cleveland Bonsai Club Webpage!The Cleveland Bonsai Club will be having our annual Fall Bonsai Show Saturday and Sunday October 18th and 19th at the Cleveland Botanic Garden Center located off I-90 and MLK Blvd or Euclid Avenue next to the Cleveland Art Museum on East Blvd. There will be up to 100 of Ohio's finest Bonsai examples in full fall color on display and 7 vendors selling pots, trees, plants, tools, etc. There will be a Raffle for a beautiful specimen Black Pine. This is a great way to enjoy the fall and a fabulous chance to enjoy the Cleveland Botanic Gardens. You and your family can have a great time to exploring Bonsai and learn about this ancient Art.
Standard admission and parking fees apply to enter the Botanic Gardens, Greenhouses, etc.but there is no fee to see the show. This is one of Cleveland's hidden treasures.
The Cleveland Bonsai Club is open to anyone with an interest in Bonsai, Penjing or Saikei. Club meetings include demonstrations, instructions, workshops and speakers of all types, from the club membership to professionals known worldwide. Membership also includes club activities such as dinners, picnics, field trips and the general exchange of ideas and information as well as the social aspects of our club association. Members are encouraged to participate in club activities, but are free to choose how they wish to enjoy their hobby.
Our Club meetings are currently held on the 4th Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 12 noon at the Rockefeller Park Garden Greenhouse located on Martin Luther King Blvd. off the I-90 exit in Cleveland.
In addition to our monthly meetings and activities, the CBC puts on as many as two shows per year with our primary annual show in early June. These shows include vendors, demonstrations, auctions, displays, music and beautiful settings with as many as 75 to 100 of the finest Bonsai examples on display.
Visitors are welcome at monthly meetings and the public is invited to our annual shows.
